What a whirlwind of events leading up to my departure to Japan! Having a headache squeezing everything I need into the luggage, with the occasional nagging from my mum. Eating out with my family at Crystal Jade (seldom had one in ages) tasting crappy mapo tofu. Last gathering with my beloved E441 brothers and sisters in Christ (with a guest appearance from my most revered senpai, Qianli :D).

Yo jajabings, I'll miss you too! :D

LOL! Can tell that Jon Goh is a guai guai zai who never had ah beng tendencies at all :P

Cia-ee & Val-ee!!! :D Appreciating these rekindled friendships (I know I over-used the word 'rekindled' :P)

アデリンーさん!Thanks for taking time to prepare a small gift for me despite your busyness! :D

Powerful spiritual warriors who rushed down after leader's meeting just to send me off! ...Except for one... (OPS just kidding la :P)

Ok la, don't get angry huh? :) Our 'Biggest Loser' challenge officially commenced yesterday! Loser will treat the winner Fullerton buffet or something, okay? :P

Janet, ever the creative, vibrant and daring person she is, decided to come up with this weird fighting pose that's a mix of Street Fighter and L4D2 LOL!
Becoming the 2nd last person to board the flight gate. (=.=) Sitting in between an ah beng donning flashy Christian Audigier T-shirt and dreadlocks, and a peaceful-looking ah pek. :S Becoming the LAST person to go through immigration counter (cos' I forgot to put a pen in my pocket so I couldn't fill up the embarkation card on board the plane).
Discovering one of the 2 Japanese guys who came to fetch me had his fly wide open but didn't dare to tell him cos' he seemed like the typical Japanese guy with tons of ego. Realizing my misconception of the Japanese head coordinator being an seasoned old veteran is utterly wrong and she turned out to be a rather cute woman in her mid-late 20s.

Sakura is so beautiful... And it's not even in full bloom!

And uhhh, if I'm awed by it and I'm not usually a flower lover, it means it is REALLY pretty to admire in person
I have such a great Japanese buddy attached to me for my stay in Fukuoka. Friendly, warm, witty guy who is actually interested in Singapore whereas most of the other typical Japanese are usually pro-Western. He is trying to apply for an SEP to NUS next semester, so ladies, cross your fingers! :P He's not exactly the Japanese cute boy kinda look, but I feel that his character surpasses skin-deep superficiality. (Shan't post his pic here cos' some Japanese are sensitive about displaying their pic online for everyone to see)

I didn't know the red plates are laced with thick wasabi and when I put the whole sushi into my mouth, my nose was flaring... Literally... (=.=)
You're reading this post because I'm slacking in my hotel now! I can't seem to sleep on board aeroplanes so I'll take this time to relax, let the excitement cool a little, and let the sweet reality (that I don't have to squeeze with foreign 'talents' on the trains, suffer the wrath of the unforgiving weather, and dredge through the monotony of life) sink in just abit more. :D

Woohoo! End the post with a cam-whore pic :P
Thanks for all the well wishes! I'm already starting to miss everyone... My bed which I've been sleeping on for 12 years, loosening up to speak Singlish, all the familiar faces, the mundane routine, and uhhh... LAKSA! I've been spamming that for the past 2 weeks despite my tummy problems lol. Okay take care, guys. I'll try my best to update my blog regularly! :)
