I'm not joking about my testimony in CG =P
(Sunday, October 18, 2009/1:26 PM)

Wooo... I'm feeling super nuah now... =S After weeks of arduous efforts, I finally submitted my computer graphics assignment yesterday before heading down to church service. For the first time in months, the world ceased spinning and my life comes to a standstill. I guess I can afford some time to relax... at least for now.

Anyway, if you E441 peeps was wondering where I 'disappeared' to yesterday, I went with my friend to meet a Japanese CGL to have dinner with her CG consisting of entirely Japanese people! (^_^) And for the last time... SHE'S NOT MY GF!!! (>.<) At least 3-4 people yesterday mistook us as a couple too. Do we really have the BF-GF look? LoL! =S

I wasn't feeling too well recently (migraine and IBS recurrences), so I felt that I didn't do an equally good job as the last time when I brought Japanese students around in NUS. But it was an awesome opportunity cos' coincidentally, an ojiisan is a Kyushu University graduate and his family resides in Fukuoka! I'm beginning to appreciate the divine appointments set by God. =)

A Singaporean coordinator came along and he spoke in PERFECT Japanese. Sigh... When can I ever reach that level? An even more interesting revelation was that he and the Japanese CGL are actually a married couple of 10 years! (o.O) Woah, how did he manage to find a Japanese lady who is fervent for God, speaks in Singlish, and is willing to stay in Singapore!? Goshhh... I think he's becoming my newest role model in life. I shall be his young Padawan and ask him for tips. =P

Well, on a serious note, the CGL is intending to make this an official ministry, but for now, she allows me to help out on a voluntary basis. I'm glad I'm moving forward in my true calling! =) 80% of the girls in choir are around my age, yet in the Japanese CG, either they're too young or too old *lol*. But I gotta focus on the higher calling... Higher calling... I shall heed Francis' advice to just serve God and He'll send the right girl along my way. =D (Hey Victor, all the best in finding yours haha)

Jasmine and I took some pics with some of them, and I shall post them up once she uploads it to Facebook. Time to prep-up for a time of CG fellowship at Marina Barrage! (^-^)
