Jeju Day 2!!!~
(Wednesday, June 17, 2009/11:46 PM)
Alrighty... Here's my long-awaited continuation of my Jeju trip last May... If anybody's still interested haha! (>.<)
We went to a traditional village which is supposedly inhabited by the native people, and is open to tourists to observe their daily lifestyle. But uhhh... When we reached there, we were sorely disappointed cos' the place looked artificial, and there weren't people living there at all.
Or perhaps we were just in a small sector allocated as tourist attraction. So anyhow... We were greeted by a very animated, bubbly obasan who kept harping on the fact that she appeared in a small scene in Da Chang Jin *LOL*!
And uhhh... She went crazy whenever she saw a young man, myself included. =.= Cos' she has 3 daughters who have reached marriageable age but none of them have a boyfriend. So, she 'forced' me to become her 'son-in-law', to the sadistic glee of my tour group. (=.=")

She's teaching us how to make music with the vat, and shortly after this pic was taken, she slammed my hand down REAL hard and I winced a little, and became a laughing stock for my tour group. Bah. (>.<)
Hello, u cute little black piggie! >:) We've been eating barbequed pork, taken from black pigs such as this one, so it was a little weird staring a live one in the face. =S
Da Chang Jin's photo is all over the island. Gosh. >.<
Next up, we went to a nice little scenic park by the sea, the place where Da Chang Jin gathered herbs during her exile at Jeju Island.
And here she is again!
It's called the General Rock. In what ways it resembles a general, I do not know. But heck, I'll just enjoy the scenery!
Yeps, enjoying the view!
Taking a rest in the park after a long hike up...
Went to some waterfalls next and my parents were lamenting "China's ones bigger and prettier!"
Windmills... Best u can get if u can't go to Holland... *rofl*
And the highlight of the day for me... TEDDY BEAR MUSEUM!!! WEEE!!! =P

*LoL* Disney "Bear" Land
Terracota... Bears?
Teddy Bear Fashion Show
U'll never see Hong Kong the same way u did before =S
The bears from Princess Hours. Gosh, I wish I can buy them. >.<
Woah, this bear is decked out in LV stuff... Needless to say, it's darn expensive... A few 100K USD... (=.O)
Hehe, huge bear!
Okay, that was an understatement. Now, this is HUGE! =)
Awww cute eh? My mum wanted to buy this bear, but I chose another. But if given the choice, I'd have bought both, but my mum is really strict with the purse strings. *Shrugs*
Hey Janet, Jamie, do u guys wanna go Jeju someday? I needa come back to this place. (>.<)

Darn crappy tour leader gave us only 45 mins... =( Anyway, that's the end of Day 2! Stay tuned for Day 3!
