Hohoho Merry X'mas!!!~

Hohoho Merry X'mas! Okay... I know it's over but I was too lazy to blog yesterday... =P Due to last minute changes in my church service schedule, all of a sudden, my X'mas eve was free up, and I was at a loss for what to do. My SAJC clique had their own plans for X'mas eve since I told them my X'mas eve wasn't free. My best buddy was resting from night shift. My geek gang had schedule conflicts. I had to spend X'mas eve alone. :'(
Oh well, X'mas itself was quite fruitful! Not really exciting or happening, cos' Debbie came down with a fever (are u feeling better already?) and KC had to take care of her while her parents are out. Terri had an overnight party with her friends, and overslept! Grrr... >:( So, I went to service with only An Xian to accompany me. An Xian was also feeling down cos' his friend pangseh-ed him at the last minute. Don't give up, keep trying! =)
The evening was the real highlight cos' I got to meet up Yong Loong and Eric, my 2 closest friends from my SAJC clique. We met at JP and decided to watch Ip Man. Everyone is poking fun at the movie title's subtle reference to our 'favourite' local drama of the past, VR Man (if u pronounce Ip Man, as I.P Man *LOL*)! (o.O)
I was afraid we would have moments of awkwardness cos' Yong Loong and Eric had a history of hostility (haha), and I, myself, have not seen Eric in ages, only meeting recently after a 2 years' hiatus. Thankfully, we clicked naturally and I enjoyed the time we spent together yesterday! Eric and I played a silly game of Rambo, and we gathered our 2 last tokens and shared a game of Street Fighter 4 against a Ryu pro. Got thrashed badly *lol*! (>.<)"
As for the movie itself, it's somewhat similar to Jet Li's Fearless. Eric and YL were expecting the movie to be something more, but how outrageous or intriguing can a real-life story be? LoL! :) Donnie Yen is definitely slick in showcasing his martial arts prowess. ^_^ As with all Chinese history movies, yet again, the animosity between Japan and China during WWII is blatantly portrayed.
The Japanese general is acted by a familiar Japanese actor who acted as a rebellious kiddo in GTO, so I almost lol'ed when I first saw his face. Haha! :) In the entire cinema, only Eric and I were laughing at the weird Japanese they blabbered. Omg, that was rather embarrassing haha. As with "Fearless", movies like this invoked the Chinese nationalism spirit in me. But as soon as I got back home and resumed watching Japanese dramas, that feeling faded just as quickly. NIPPON FOREVA! ^_^
Just some random pics taken over the week...
This is taken during the X'mas party. Everyone was teasing how matching Zoe's skirt and my top were. Brrr... =S
W429 brothers after dinner at Cafe Cartel right after X'mas candlelight service!
Up next, new year countdown! Yeah! ^_^
